McNemar's Test of Symmetry

Two nominal variables; both are two-point scales and you want to measure symmetry

Use McNemar's test of symmetry; in this case, McNemar's test of symmetry is equivalent to Cochran's Q. The MicrOsiris TABLES command will compute Cochran's Q

McNemar's test of symmetry is appropriate for parallel measures from matched cases as well as for repeated measures on a single set of cases.
